Editorial Policy
How Emails.help researches, reviews, updates and corrects its email guidance.
Our standard
Every Emails.help guide should answer a specific user problem accurately, plainly and safely. We prefer first-party help centres, product documentation and provider announcements over secondary summaries. Where an important claim cannot be confirmed from a primary source, the guide must identify the uncertainty rather than present it as settled fact.
Research and review
- Server addresses, ports, encryption methods and account requirements are checked against provider documentation.
- Interface instructions are reviewed for the devices and applications named in the guide.
- Security and recovery guidance avoids unofficial telephone numbers, credential requests and unsupported workarounds.
- Each published guide displays an update date and may be revised when the provider changes its product.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected as soon as they can be verified. A correction may update instructions, clarify which accounts are affected or remove advice that is no longer safe. Readers can report possible errors through the contact page.
Commercial independence
Advertising or affiliate relationships, if introduced, do not determine our technical conclusions. Sponsored placement must be clearly identified and must not imitate an editorial recommendation.
