Frontier Mail Login: How to Sign In

Frontier email is now Frontier Yahoo Mail — the same Frontier address, on a service powered by Yahoo, at no additional charge. It covers addresses ending in @frontier.com, @frontiernet.net, @citilink.net, @epix.net, @gvni.com and @newnorth.net. The older “Frontier Mail” service is no longer offered.

Sign in on the web

1. Go to login.frontier.com/webmail.
2. Enter your full Frontier email address and your password.
3. Click Login.

You can also go to frontier.yahoo.com and click the mail icon.

Sign in on your iPhone or iPad

Frontier’s own steps add your Frontier address as a Yahoo account, not as “Other”:

1. Open Settings and go to the accounts section (Frontier’s page calls it Accounts & Passwords; the name varies by iOS version).
2. Tap Add Account and choose Yahoo!.
3. Enter your full Frontier email address, tap Next, enter your email password and tap Sign in.

For other email apps, Frontier says to use one that is OAuth compliant — one that opens a sign-in window rather than just asking for a password. Settings for older apps are in Frontier Mail settings.

If you can’t sign in

• Use the whole address, including @frontier.com or @frontiernet.net — not just your name.
• Forgotten password: Frontier’s self-service reset needs a recovery email on the account. See resetting your Frontier email password.
• Several addresses? Frontier accounts can have more than one email address. Each signs in with its own address and password.

Your Frontier address is yours to keep

Frontier says your Frontier email account is yours for life, and stays free even if you move out of Frontier’s service area. To close it, you have to contact Frontier.

Managing addresses

Extra email addresses — and changing a password you know — are handled in the Frontier Account Editor, which Frontier says only works when you’re on the Frontier network, such as on your home Frontier connection.

Watch out for fake “Frontier email support” numbers

Pages that look like Frontier help and push a phone number are a common trap for Frontier email users. Use Frontier’s own help at frontier.com/helpcenter. Never give your password or a verification code to someone who contacted you, and never let them control your computer. More in the email security hub. Moving between providers?
